Image(28 June 2017) The Team of Radio International takes you through a fantastic Eurovision Summer 2017 with lots of music and refelctions of Eurovision 2017 as well as the best Eurovision Summer Tunes.  You are cordially invited to the weekly Ultimative Eurovision Experience live each and every Wednesday from 2000 - 2300 hours CET. Read on to see the different means where the show is broadcast.

In addition, Radio International will be transmitted live on the Facebook Group "Eurovision Radio International". You will be able to listen and see the show as well as chat with the fans worldwide. On Wednesday, 28 June 2017 at 2000 hours CET go to the Facebook Group "Eurovision Radio International" and enjoy the show and chat with the fan community.

ImageApart from the means of FM Radio in the Netherlands on FM 106.8 and the audio stream from the studio via www.radiointernational.tv, TUNEIN and on Digital Cable 916 & cable 88.1Mhz in the Netherlands, the show will also be web-televised via Livestream from the studio and linking up the many international Eurovision fans and friends and play your requests and read your messages out on air. The channel includes a Chat Room. Tell your friends to join in - SPREAD THE NEWS. Normally, the simulcast is from 2000 – 2300 hours CET when Eurovision fans can join in and chat amongst each other via the Chat Room and request their favourite Eurovision entry. ImageLive Interview with Esther Hart (Netherlands 2003) - J'aime la Vlie:  Radio International is delighted to welcome to the show live this Wednesday the lovely Esther Hart who represented the Netherlands at the Eurovision Song Contest 2003 with the song "One more Night" which came 13th in Riga, Latvia. In that year she also had entered a song in the British National Selection but had to withdraw that entry once she was selected to represent the Netherlands. Esther is one of the organising forces behind the very first edition of a Dutch Eurovision event to take place on the Dutch island Vlieland on 30 June - 02 July 2017 which is a Eurovision Weekend entitled "J'aime la Vlie". Eurovision artists from various countries are taking part in the Eurovision Weekend event such as Glen Vella (Malta 2011), Lisa Angell (France 2015), Joeran from Aarzemnieki (Latvia 2014), Tom Dice (Belgium 2010) and Dutch Eurovision Winner from 1969 - Lenny Kuhr, just to mention a few. Listeners are encouraged to send in their question they have to Esther Hart by using the CONTACT link on the main menu of the Radio International Website. 
Image  Interview with Anja Nissen (Denmark 2017): The Danish entry to the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Kyiv, Ukraine was performed by Australia residing Anja Nissen who successfully qualified Denmark for the Grand Final and then ranked at Number 20 at the end of the voting sequence on Saturday, 13 May 2017 with the song "Where I am". Radio International's JP had the pleasure to meet Anja for a second time, after Eurovision in Concert in Amsterdam in April, and then at the Nordic Party in Kyiv. Listen to the interview on this week's edition of Radio International. 

Image Interview with JOWST feat Aleksander Walmann (Norway 2017):  Rado International's David Mann already had the pleasure in chatting with JOWST feat. Aleksander Walmann from Norway at the Eurovision 2017 pre-view event in Riga, Lativia but then JP and Eugene met the singers again at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Kyiv for an interview after their rehearsal and press conference. Also Norway made it into the Grand Final from the Semi Final with the song "Grab the moment" and then ranked at Number 10 at the end of the voting sequence. Listen to the interview from Kyiv on this week's edition of Radio International. 
Image Interview with Demy (Greece 2017): After the non-qulification to the Grand Final in 2016 Greece once again made it to the Grand Final when Demy sucessfully qualified the Helenic Nation with the song "This is love" coming 19th in Kyiv at the 62nd Eurovision Song Contest. Radio International's JP met the singer for an interview after her press conference which you can hear on this week's edition of the show. 
ImageEurovision Spotlight - The Show Starters:  As every year the Radio International Eurovision Experts were brainstorming what should be the summer feature during Eurovision Radio International throughout the summer of 2017 and the team thought let's reflect on the songs that started off the Eurovision Song Contest in each year. 62 editions of the Eurovision Song Contest were staged over the years and there has to be always the first song in the Running Order of the Eurovision Song Contest. This week Alasdair Rendall continues the new series. It will be nice to hear some long forgotten classics again on the show in the weeks to come. 
ImageEurovision UnderCover:  Radio International each week inserts into the show Eurovision Cover Versions where David Mann from Eurovision-Norwich will be intoducing some of the finest Eurovision Song Contest entries covered by other singers. Just be surprised. You will be hearing the actual song that has been on the Eurovision stage followed by the cover. Enjoy the brand new series.  Listeners are encouraged to send in their cover versions they came across over the years to share with the other fans tuning into the show. Alternatively, listeners can send in their request for a particular Eurovision covered song using this link   
Image New Song Releases by Eurovision Artists Radio International is always keen to know how the careers of Eurovision performers develop after their performance at the event. The show is in collaboration with many Music Companies that supply Radio International with the latest songs of their signed up artists to bring the muisc closer to the fans. On a weekly basis Radio International receives songs which are being featured on the show.  
ImageEurovision Song Contest News: Nathan Waddell usually joins the team in the studio every week to bring you the news and the latest developments connected to the Eurovision Song Contest such as the National Finals or if it is music releases of Eurovision performers, special concerts, gossip, etc Nathan will have it all for us during the weekly edition of Radio International. He also takes a look at some statistics such as viewing figures in the various countries and more. Nathan is website editor with escxtra.com. In addition, Eurovision News is available on www.eurovision.tv, This week Nathan is on holidays and with the usual lack of Eurovision News in the Summer the Eurovision News return next week.    
ImageEurovision Quiz:  Scratch your heads and bite your nails at  our weekly Eurovision Song Contest Quiz. Good luck and win a copy of a past Eurovision Song Contest Final on DVD or a dip into the Eurovision Goodies Bag. All you have to do is to identify the five clips with Artist, Song, Country and Year. Send your answers via the website's CONTACTs form. As for the quiz answers, you have two weeks time to crack the quiz after Radio International was aired live. That gives the chance for the listeners who were not able to join us live on Wednesdays to participate in the quiz and the draw for the prize. Good Luck!
