Image   Interview with Barei (Spain 2016):  OGAE Portugal together with the Municipality of Setubal held their annual Eurovision Live Concert 2016 in Setubal, Portugal on 10 September 2016 with the participation of a line up of great Eurovision artists. One of them was the very energetic Barei who represented Spain at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 with the song "Say Yay" which came 22nd in the Grand Final in Stockholm, Sweden lat May. Radio International's JP chatted with Barei during the sound check of the Eurovision Live Concert 2016 in Setubal, Portugal. Image Interview with Rui Andrade (Russia 2014, Backing Vocalist): The Eurovision Live Concert organised by OGAE Portugal and the Municipality of Setubal, Portugal  is always a highlight for many fans coming to visit and enjoy the concert and meet the former Eurovision performers but also the very talented Portuguese artists and singers that went through the national of Portugal called Festival da Cancao. There is always a vast lineup of artists being invited to perform their entry to the Eurovision Song Contest or the national final. One of the artists returning annually to the Eurovision Live Concert with a great show and Eurovision medleys is Rui Andrade who finally made it to the Eurovision Song Contest in 2014 but not for Portugal but being backing vocalist in the Russian entry performed by the former Junior Eurovision Winners for Russia in 2016 when the Tolmachevy Twins performed the song "Vesna".  Rui Andrade had three attempts in the Portuguese National Final called Festival da Cancao trying to get the ticket to the Eurovision Song Contest. In all three occasions he came third. In 2011 with "Em Nome do Amor", "Amor a preto e branco" in 2012 and "Ao teu encontro" in 2014. ImageJunior Eurovision Song Contest 2016: The 14th annual Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2016 is scheduled to take place on Sunday, 20 November 2016 at 1600 hours from the Mediterranean Conference Centre in Valetta, Malta when young artists from 17 countries will be singing their song in this pan-european music event. Detailed information is on the website of the event Junior Eurovision Song Contest or click here. Radio International always has been supporting this event and will also continue in 2016. Listen to some of the Junior Eurovision Highlights as well the currentJunior Eurovision songs on Radio International. The Team will be off to sunny Malta for the event to bring you interviews with the young artists. 
ImageEurovision Song Contest Spotlight - The Dreaded Number 2 Position:  Through the Summer 2016 the Radio International's Eurovision Experts came up with the idea to take a look at the dreaded starting position of the Euroision Song Contest from where no country ever won the Eurovision Song Contest. This week Alasdair Rendall closes out the series. Next week Marcus Keppel-Palmer makes a comeback with taking a lock at Dieter Bohlen's involvement in the Eurovision Song Contest and beyond. Dieter Bohlen is the music genius behind the hits of many artists including Modern Talking, Bonny Tyler, Engelbert, and many many more. MOre will be revealed in the show next week.

ImageEurovision Under Cover:  This ever so popular feature on Radio International is David Mann's weekly edition of the Eurovision Cover Versions where David Mann from Eurovision Norwich will be intoducing some of the finest Eurovision Song Contest entries covered by other singers. Just be surprised. You will be hearing the actual song that has been on the Eurovision stage followed by the cover. Listeners are encouraged to send in their cover versions they came across over the years to share with the other fans tuning into the show. Alternatively, listeners can send in their request for a particular Eurovision covered song using this link

ImageEurovision Song Contest News: Nathan Waddell joins the team in the studio every week to bring you the news and the latest developments connected to the Eurovision Song Contest such as the National Finals or if it is music releases of Eurovision performers, special concerts, gossip, etc Nathan will have it all for us during the weekly edition of Radio International. He also takes a look at some statistics such as viewing figures in the various countries and more. Nathan is website editor with escxtra.com. ImageNew Song Releases by Eurovision Artists Radio International is always keen to know how the careers of Eurovision performers develop after their performance at the event. The show is in collaboration with many Music Companies that supply Radio International with the latest songs of their signed up artists to bring the muisc closer to the fans. On a weekly basis Radio International receives songs which are being featured on the show.

ImageEurovision Quiz:  Scratch your heads and bite your nails at  our weekly Eurovision Song Contest Quiz. Good luck and win a copy of a past Eurovision Song Contest Final on DVD or a dip into the Eurovision Goodies Bag. All you have to do is to identify the five clips with Artist, Song, Country and Year. Send your answers via the website's CONTACTs form. As for the quiz answers, you have two weeks time to crack the quiz after Radio International was aired live. That gives the chance for the listeners who were not able to join us live on Wednesdays to participate in the quiz and the draw for the prize. Good Luck!
