ImageRadio International TV Channel with Chat Room: Radio International launched its own Livestream TV Channel where fans can join and see how we actually do Radio International and listen to the show while chatting with the other Eurovision fans joining the community.  But also you can watch there the many interviews the Team of Radio International has done over the past weeks and also a re-run of the weekly edition of Radio International. ImageHurrah Hurrah Hurrah! Holidays for the members of the Team of Radio International is fast approaching. This week Wednesday, 05 September 2012 is the last live show in the normal format for three weeks. The team takes off and returns again live on 03 October 2012. However, this week is another huge show certainly not to be missed. Read on that is on the show this week. But as from September 12, 19 & 26 special programmes are planned on Eurovision Radio International. Check this space for details as from next Monday. 
ImageInterview with Lisa del Bo (Belgium 1996):  Before the Team of Radio International departs on summer vacation and airs special programmes make sure not to miss this week's edition of the show with a live interview of the Belgian Representative to the Eurovision Song Contest who performed "Liefde is een Kaartspel" reaching Number 16 in the Eurovision Song Contest 1996 in Oslo. Currently the artist also released her brand new single called "Hemelhoog".  Radio International is extremely delighted to welcome to the airwaves and cyberspace - Lisa Del Bo from Belgium. For Lisa's website click here.  Lisa will be joining the show live from Belgium via the phone and listeners / viewers are encouraged to ask their questions either via the Livestream Chat or by using the CONTACT link on the Radio International website. 
ImageInterview with Hera Bjoerk (Iceland 2010):  On 01 & 02 September 2012, OGAE Finland organised the annual Eurovision Cruise from Helsinki to Tallin (Estonia) aboard of the MS Baltic Princess with performances of Ott Lepland (Estonia 2012), Vukasin Brajic (Bosnia-Herzegovina 2010), Laura Voultilainen (Finland 2002) and Hera Bjoerk (Iceland 2010). Lilian Brunell and JP conducted an interview with Hera Bjoerk after the event on her upcoming career plans and more. Make sure not to miss this interview with Hera Bjoerk who represented Iceland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 with the song "Je ne sais quoi" which reached Number 19 in Oslo. She was also part of the Icelandic Delegation in 2009 when she supported Yohanna in "Is it true" as backing vocalist. And not to be forgotten of course "Someday" which was the runner up of the Danish National Final in 2009. Find many photos from the event right here. Enjoy! 
ImageEurovision Song Contest Spotlight - The Host Entries:  This is the last in the series where Radio International correspondants take a look at the entries to the Eurovision Song Contest by the countries that were hosting the contest e.g. this year the Eurovision Song Contest came from Azerbaijan and the Azeri entry = Host Entry is Sabina Babayeva. This week it is the turn of Alasdair Rendall who will be joining the team in the studio to take a look at the host entries of 2009, 1960, 1970, 1980, 1990, 2000 and 2010.  In October 2012 a brand new series is planned where the team members will be taking a look at the Swedish entries at the Eurovision Song Contest.

ImageEuro Friends Song Contest 2012 - The Eight Final 5 Qualifiers with Andy Simon:  Andy is back with the Euro Friends Song Contest in search for the ultimate Eurovision song as voted for by the many fans around the world.  Andy is back to reveal the qualifiers from Eight Final 5 of the Euro Friends Song Contest 2012 which go through to the Quarter Finals.  The website of the Euro Friends Song Contest you will find here where you can easily vote for your favourite Eurovision songs you wish to see in the next stage of the contest and also see The Euro-Friends TV Show as hosted by Andy Simon. ImageHome Composed Song Contest 2012 - Call out for submissions:  As in previous years Radio International supports the Home Composed Song Contest which is a songwriters competition across Europe and beyond. 2012 marks the 21st edition of the Song Contest and the 2011 edition was won by Denmark and this year's edition is hosted by Spain. Contact the website of the Home Composed Song Contest to find out further details how to submit your entries and also what the schedule looks like.
