Image Radio International goes ... Hera Björk Special. In our third hour this week Radio International air this particular special. On 07 November 2009 the Eurovision Club Germany (EC Germany) held their annual Eurovision convention in Cologne's Gloria Theatre with the participation of three artists of the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest in Moscow: Oscar Loya (Germany) as part of Alex Swings Oscar Sings, Igor Cukrov (Croatia) and Hera Bjoerk (Iceland).
In this week's edition we air the interview with Hera Bjoerk and in addition we play some tracks of two of Hera's albums. Enjoy this special edition of the show and we wish the best of luck to Hera Björk for her Eurovision future :)

Radio International had the pleasure to interview Philip during the show this week to find out more details of the new Eurovision Radio Service.      
Image Lilian Brunell our Eurovision correspondent from Stockholm, Sweden attended some Press Conferences hosted by SVT (Swedish Television). Over the next weeks Radio International will air these interviews during the first two hours of the show. Listen to the interview with Lilian and the potential candidates from which one act will represent Sweden at the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest in Oslo, Norway in May. This week we planed four interviews however only managed two. So listen to: Timoteij  and NEO. More interviews with our rowing reporter Lilian from Stockholm with Melodifestivalen 2010 Semi Finalist will be aired next week.

ImageEurovision Song Contest - the History of the next Host Country: Norway won the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest and also agreed to host the 55th Eurovision Song Contest. Over the past weeks our Eurovision Correspondants Alasdair Rendal, Chris Poppe, Marcus Keppel-Palmer and Ross Bennett guided us through Norway's participation at the Eurovision Song Contest telling us interesting items about host country and each week we reviewed four Norwegian Eurovision entries. This week sees the final part in the series where Ross Bennett reviews the last four entries of Norway at the Eurovision Song Contest: 2006 - 2009. Let's see what our friends have in store in the New Year. By the way - in 2010 the Eurovision Slot will move into the second hour of Radio International.

Malta's Eurovision Radio comes from the sunny island presented by Deo Grech on Super ONE Radio every Tuesday from 2045 - 2145 hours.
