Eurovision Song Contest with Radio International.
ImageFor the very first time the Radio International Show was televised via the leading Eurovision News website www.oikotimes.com. After last week's successful simulcast on the web TV channel of oikotimes.com (click the link to watch how we actually do Radio International) as well as radio and internet radio we will do the same again next Wednesday.

For optimal full listening pleasure we suggest to turn off the sound of the OIKOTIMES TV and listen to the stream from the the studio by clicking here.

Eurovision Song Contest - the History of the next Host Country: Norway won the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest and also agreed to host the 55th Eurovision Song Contest the Eurovision part of Radio International thought to take a look back at Norway's participation at the Eurovision Song Contest. So for the next four weeks in rotation Alasdair Rendal, Chris Poppe, Marcus Keppel-Palmer and Ross Bennett will be telling us interesting items about host country and each week we review four songs of Norway. This week Marcus starts with the early days of Norway at the Eurovision Song Contest.

Eurovision  Interview with Convention Organiser:  This weekend OGAE Croatia, OGAE Spain, OGAE Sweden and OGAE UK are having their annual Eurovision Convention. In the UK it is know as the EUROBASH which is scheduled for Saturday, 03 October 2009. During the show we talk to Paul Marks-Jones, the president of OGAE UK and organiser of this special event.

ImageRadio International goes to the Eurovision Song Contest - THE NUMBER TWOs (Part 5). For the next six weeks we will broadcast the Runners Up of the Eurovision Song Contest. We go through the 54 year history of the Eurovision Song Contest and play you a clip from the winner of each year, give you some additional information of the particular song contest and then play the Number Two in full. This is in the third hour of Radio International. is a weekly radio show produced in the studios of Oradio
in Antwerp, Belgium.  It airs every Monday evening from 2200 - 2300 hours and is presented by Philip Vereyken.  A must for Eurovision freaks. Lots of nice Eurovision music, interviews and news - however, in the Flemish language. You can listen to a repeat of EurovisO by clicking here. Please note that the team of EurovisO takes a couple of months summer break to return fully recharged with a change. Stay tuned!
Malta's Eurovision Radio comes from the sunny island presented by Deo Grech on Super ONE Radio every Tuesday from 2045 - 2145 hours. You can contact Deo during the show and request your favourite Eurovision songs. The show is in Maltese mixed with English. Tribute to Patrick Swayzee  who tragically passed away after loosing the fight with cancer.  We all know him acting in the movies "Ghost" and "Dirty Dancing". This week with a slight delay we prepared a little tribute to him.
