Welcome to Eurovision Radio International
Eurovision Radio International is a fast moving, entertaining three hour radio programme offering up-to-date information and entertainment about the Eurovision Song Contest all year round. The show contains interviews with past and present Eurovision performers, News about the Eurovision Song Contest, the Eurovision Quiz, Expert opinions and of course the Listeners' Choices as well. 
Image How to Listen: This weekly radio show is geared for Expatriates, English speaking internationals and especially to the fans of the Eurovision Song Contest, broadcast from the studios of RTV Katwijk in the Netherlands on 106.8FM & Digital Cable Channel Number 781 and via the Internet. Simply click on the icon and you should be able to hear the station's stream on the times of live broadcast on Wednesday from 2000 - 2300 hours CET. In addition to the means of FM radio and webradio, Radio International will also be simulcast on the ESCNEWS TV channel in the UK (where you can see how we actually do Radio International). Weeks 18 & 19/2016 - Eurovision Radio International live from Stockholm, Sweden

Apart from the means of FM Radio in the Netherlands on FM 106.8 and the audio stream from the studio via www.radiointernational.tv, TUNEIN and on Digital Cable 781 & cable 88.1Mhz in the Netherlands, the show will also be web-televised via in the UK based ESCNEWS TV Channel from the studio and linking up the many international Eurovision fans and friends and play your requests and read your messages out on air. The channel includes a Chat Room. Tell your friends to join in - SPREAD THE NEWS. The simulcast will be from 2000 – 2300 hours CET when Eurovision fans can join in and chat amongst each other via the Chat Room and request their favourite Eurovision entry. ImageImageEurovision 2015 meets Eurovision 2016: As the Team of Radio International is in Stockholm, Sweden at the 61st Eurovision Song Contest this and next week as Radio International broadcasts its traditional programme "Eurovision 2015 meets Eurovision 2016" as a review to last year's Eurovision Song Contest entries and a look ahead of the songs that are competing in 2016. This way you can compare the songs per country. This week it is Part 1 of 2. Part 2 will be broadcast at the same time next week. 
ImageSpecial Edition and additional shows of Eurovision Radio International - Live from Stockholm:  In addition to Eurovision 2015 meets Eurovision 2016 Radio International will be producing additional shows in form of PODCASTS and will be devoted to live coverage from the Press Centre as the Team of Radio International will be chatting with as many of this year's Eurovision artists and more. JP, David, Eric and Lilian and more media colleagues will be giving you impressions from Eurovision Town 2016 - Stockholm.
ImageThe Eurovision Song Contest 2016:  Initially, 43 countries signed up and declareed their participation at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016, however, on 20 April 2016 Romania's Broadcaster lost the membership with the EBU (European Broadcasting Union) and thus cannot take part at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 leaving the remaining countries to a number of 42 to  compete for the trophy and the right to host the Eurovision Song Contest 2017. The countries are distributed into two Semi Finals and the Top Ten of both Semi Finals meet in the Grand Final on the Big Five (Germany, Spain, France, United Kingdom, Italy) and the host country Sweden will in the 61st Eurovision Song Contest..
Semi Final 1 of the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 is scheduled for Tuesday, 10 May 2016.
Semi Final 2 of the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 is scheduled for Thursday, 12 May 2016.
The Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 is scheduled for Saturday, 14 May 2016.
All three shows come from the legendary Ericsson Globe or Globen Arena which also was the venue of the Eurovision Song Contest 2000.  Last year's winner Måns Zelmerloew and Petra Mede will be the hosts of the shows and to whom will Måns hand over the trophy to the Winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2016? :)  May the best song win and now enjoy this week's Eurovision extravaganza on Eurovision Radio International.
