Welcome to Eurovision Radio International
Eurovision Radio International is a fast moving, entertaining three hour radio programme offering up-to-date information and entertainment about the Eurovision Song Contest all year round. The show contains interviews with past and present Eurovision performers, News about the Eurovision Song Contest, the Eurovision Quiz, Expert opinions and of course the Listeners' Choices as well. 
 
ImageThis weekly radio show is geared for Expatriates, English speaking internationals and especially to the fans of the Eurovision Song Contest, broadcast from the studios of RTV Katwijk in the Netherlands on 106.8FM & Digital Cable Channel Number 781 and via the Internet. (Click to listen). You can also find Radio International (RTV Katwijk) on TuneIn. Simply click on the icon and you should be able to hear the station's stream.   
 
ImageIn addition to the means of FM radio and webradio, Radio International will also be simulcast on the show's own web TV channel (where you can see how we actually do Radio International). You can reach the channel by clicking here while listening to the weekly edition of Radio International or some previous interviews Radio International has done with Eurovision performers. Radio International would like to encourage you to actively take part in the chat during the show and send in your requests and greetings.

Image(23 July 2014) The Team of Radio International invites you to the weekly Ultimative Eurovision Experience. Apart from the means of FM Radio in the Netherlands on FM 106.8 and the audio stream from the studio via www.radiointernational.tv and on Digital Cable 781 & cable 88.1Mhz in the Netherlands, the show will also be web-televised via the Radio International TV Channel from the studio and linking up the many international Eurovision fans and friends and play your requests and read your messages out on air. Tell your friends to join in - SPREAD THE NEWS. ImageEurovision Song Contest 2014 - Radio International on location in Copenhagen - a recap:  The Team of Radio International while at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 produced lots of material in terms of interviews with the Eurovision 2014 performers plus some specials which you will hear on Eurovision Radio International during the next weeks curing your Post Eurovision Depression as much as possible. ImageInterview with Scott Fitzgerald (United Kingdom 2014):  The United Kingdom was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 1988 by Scott Fitzgerald with the song "Go" coming 2nd with just ONE point difference to the winner who was Celine Dion winning the Eurovision Song Contest 1988 for Switzerland with the song "Ne partez pas sans moi". The victory for Celine also launched her worldwide career with many great songs and albums on release including the Millionseller "My heart will go on" from the Titanic Movie Soundtrack. Scott Fitzgerald had singing success with Yvonne Keeley and the song "If I had words" which reached Number 3 in the UK Singles Charts back in 1978. Details about Scott Fitzgerald can be found here  and he has also been taking part at various Eurovision events in recent years. At last weekend's Eurovision Weekend in Berlin 2014 Radio International had the pleasure to meet Scott again for an short interview on his updates which is aired on this week's edition of Radio International.
 
ImageInterview with Suzy (Portugal 2014):  Suzy represented Portugal at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 and with this is also the 50th Winner of the Festival da Cancao which is Portugal's National Selection for the Eurovision Song Contest. The song "Quero ser tua" which unfortunately failed to qualify for the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 as she reached Number 11 in Semi Final 1 when only the Top 10 songs qualify for the Grand Final. However, a very lively person and very outgoing with great singing capabilities Suzy was invited to this year's Eurovision Weekend in Berlin where Radio International had the please to chat with Susy about her particiaption at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 and her upcoming career. ImageInterview with Corinna May (Germany 2002):  Germany was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 2002 by the blind Corinna May with the song "I can't live without music" penned by Ralph Siegel. The song reached Number 21 for Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest in Tallin. Corinna has been invited by the organisers of the Eurovision Weekend in Berlin for this year and Radio International had the big pleasure to meet the singer and do an interview with her which you can hear on this week's edition of Radio International. This is especially interesting since Corinna talkes about her experience as a blind singer having represented her country at the Eurovision Song Contest. 
 
ImageEurovision Song Contest Spotlight - Eurovision Songwriters - This week:  Ross Bennett:   The Radio International Spotlight through the summer of 2014 features the songwriters at the Eurovision Song Contest and in this series the Eurovision Experts of Radio International will be taking a look at the songwriters that brought us many great Eurorivison entries. Continuing this week is Ross Bennett taking a lock at the works of the late Ehud Manor and the nice songs he has added to the ears of the many Eurovision fans. 
 

Image Eurovision UnderCover:  Radio International each week inserts into the show Eurovision Cover Versions where David Mann from Eurovision-Norwich will be intoducing some of the finest Eurovision Song Contest entries covered by other singers. Just be surprised. You will be hearing the actual song that has been on the Eurovision stage followed by the cover. Enjoy the brand new series.  Listeners are encouraged to send in their cover versions they came across over the years to share with the other fans tuning into the show. Alternatively, listeners can send in their request for a particular Eurovision covered song using this link.

Whether it is music releases of Eurovision performers, special concerts, gossip, etc.  Nathan will have it all for us during the weekly edition of Radio International.

ImageEurovision Quiz:  Scratch your heads and bite your nails at  our weekly Eurovision Song Contest Quiz. Good luck and win a copy of a past Eurovision Song Contest Final on DVD or a dip into the Eurovision Goodies Bag which has been restocked with 2012 items. All you have to do is to identify the five clips with Artist, Song, Country and Year. Send your answers via the website's CONTACTs form. As for the quiz answers, you have time until 2359 hours the Tuesday after Radio International was aired live. That gives the chance for the listeners who were not able to join us live on Wednesdays to participate in the quiz and the draw for the prize. Our friends who pick Radio International up via EurovisiOradio.eu can also participate at the weekly quiz. Good Luck! 
 
ImageNew Song Releases by Eurovision Artists:  Radio International is always keen to know how the careers of Eurovision performers develop after their performance at the event. The show is in collaboration with many Music Companies that supply Radio International with the latest songs of their signed up artists to bring the music closer to the fans. On a weekly basis Radio International receives songs which are being featured on the show. Over the past couple of weeks Radio International has received so many new released of Eurovision performers which will will air during the upcoming editions of Radio International. 
 
 
There will be the usual bits and pieces such the Eurovision Quiz, your Eurovision Music Requests and messages, Eurovision Calendar Items and the Eurovision News as they happen. Your views and requests are welcome and quiz answers can be sent via the website's CONTACT link.
